Mr. New Xbox 360

Hey Piggles, what can you tell me about the new XBox? I know you always had problems with the lag on the Wii. Does it still happen on the XBox or did that problem get resolved since you wired the thing to the router itself? Does that mean that now you are actually able to point DIRECTLY at what you want dead AND ACTUALLY HAVE THE BULLETS HIT? Must be nice. (hello)

i depends on who i connect to because the cod series loves to have users host the game. there are times i hit some horrendous lag and on xbox when you lag you skip around like when your loosing connection on wii.

other than that the lag has dropped significantly from wii. i play xbox when i'm stressed and can't deal with the wii lag. however, there are times when i watch kill cam and get knifed by someone bum rushing me, i've fired a few shots at them, but on their screen i just stood there and smiled while they slaughtered me.

all in all mw2 is a really fun game, i can actually snipe and come out with a good k/d ratio from a game, but i still got some lag.

with the wii if you are hard lined in like i am you still have to lag shoot .................its just how these this work

True Slean, I dont see how that works. If you are hardlined you should have a great connection speed and shouldn't have to lag shoot (I guess).

Piggy, is CoD the only game you have? Did you get Halo? I think that game runs off of dedicated servers and not hosts. I want to know if that has any effect on overall lag too.

I want to know what will happen if I get a PSBox and hardline it myself. I would hope I would get extremely diminished lag.

in any online game there is going to be lag no matter how good your connection is just think of what the game is try to do ie. hook many plp around the world in to one room meaning relaying the data to and from each player at all times even if one bullet is fired ............ so i feel like it just a part of the game but once the games starts going haywire then its a lag problem and not just how things work

yeah slaen is right to an extent... try to time a bunch of differnet connections and all the qualitites of those connections is a rough thing to do.

i hate halo sorry so i only have cod for onine atm. i might borrow a copy of halo to test that theory though. i think halo is on dedicated servers, unlike cod.

You know, I called Nintendo when I was having problems with my wii. They told me they recommend wireless to hard wiring your wii.

i know when i first started i was wireless.... it was a nightmare

I've always been wireless and "usually" I have a good signal.
